Robin is the proud owner of Onyx, Raggedy Ann & Andy (all 3 are rescued cats), Teddy, a rescued terrier mix, and Reese, a Champion Standard Poodle. You will be able to see Onyx and Reese in the shop.

Robin has served on the Raleigh Kennel Club board of directors, in addition to holding the offices of Secretary and Program Chairman. She has received numerous awards from the Club, including the Sumi Watkins "Outstanding Service to Dogs" award, the highest award which the club presents.

She trained as an apprentice under a Licensed Professional Handler, for all breed grooming and dog handling, in accordance with the requirements of the Professional Handlers Association.

She received additional training under two of the top herding breed professional show handlers in the United States, learning about herding breeds and developing show grooming and dog handling experience.

Robin has spent over 25 Years in animal rescue work, including mixed breeds, pure bred dogs, and cats. This included bottle feeding litters of unwanted pups and rehabilitating abused animals, as well as finding homes for unwanted animals. She continues to support animal rescue groups.

She has over 20 years grooming experience and has also worked as a Veterinarian Technician.

Robin bred four AKC Champion Shetland Sheepdogs and has handled a variety of dogs professionally, including Shetland Sheepdogs, Collies, Beagles, Pekingese, Huskies, Great Danes, Mastiffs, Toy Poodles, and occasionally other breeds.
